Creating Creating is a body of original work for building a bigger life – creating more of the exciting life you came here for and removing any restrictions to living more fully, acknowledging what your soul longs. You bring your dreams and symptoms and your desire. We bring our tools, experience, and passion to meet with you. The unique elements at the heart of this work that are synthesized with many modalities, teachings, and experiences of our personal and professional life.

Imagination, perspective, and action are essential to life and every successful act of healing and creativity. We take the stand that although we depend upon and learn from each other, everyone is the author of their own life and their own healer. We have found this to be exciting and powerful. We expect that you will, too.

Soul and Experience – Your soul and your direct experience are recognized before all else.

We like to have down to ground, practical ways of living our lives. We know the soul, a person's soul, the essence of who we are to be extremely down to earth and practical – tangible, and that it is costly to ignore or dismiss our essence.

We know symptoms as signs of soul and callings of the soul as opposed to dents, scrapes, or parts of our body or psyche to be fixed or replaced, according to Thomas Moore. He autographed the inside cover of Patricia's copy of his book "Care of the Soul" with  "Soul requires your full attention and devotion."   In his book "Dreamways of the Iroquois", Robert Moss writes that the Iroquois held that dreams are wishes of the soul.

Dreams of every kind – sleeping and waking – are direct, tangible experiences. So too are symptoms – physical,  emotional, relationship, financial, and other. They are not necessarily easy to read – to decipher. The soul does not speak in left brain logic or language. It speaks in patterns and metaphors. This means if we do not wish to pay attention, if it requires self-scrutiny or courage then it is not "in our face". The soul is gentle, at first.  Also, we may know what our soul is calling for, and find it inconvenient or simply requiring more courage than we are used to mustering.
